COMMENTS ABOUT 2008!
We rode in snow, sleet, freezing rain, wind and sunshine!
I did not see or experience famine, pestilence or locusts though.
See you all next year!
Sitting back in my warm residence, I am reflecting on the amazing ride from
yesterday (Saturday). I actually completed the 101-mile option and am sure I
am a much better athlete for it! I have to commend Harris County on the well
put-together ride. Everything was as advertised and was exciting. The SAG
stops were as predicted and the folks manning them were VERY friendly and
helpful. The last 30+ miles of my ride were miserable (due to the weather),
but seeing friendly and cheering faces every 10 or so miles made it worth
the effort. Please pass on my thanks and a job "well-done."
Secondly, I do recall seeing a gentleman out there taking pictures. Is it
possible that someone was Employed to take these for viewing/ selling? Please
let me know.
The greatest supported and organized century, as usual. Keep up the good
work.
Will photos be available?
